WHAT DO WE EAT?
We have since 6 years ago and are still for the time being eating a VEGAN based diet. Some of you will be thinking: "Hey! BUT WHY DO YOU FOLLOW DR. MARK HYMAN? He does not promote a VEGAN DIET?"
TRUE! But he is TRANSPARENT! There are many reasons to choose to live on and to eat a vegan diet. One diet does not have to out rule the other. The benefit of one ingredient can not take away the benefit from another. Living a vegan diet is a choice that we have made because it resonates with our body and our heart.
At the same time! It is important for us to know about HEALTH so that we can ensure that we and our little baby get what we need to live and thrive in this world.
TRANSPARENCY IS GREEN
That is where transparency comes in! Promoting a VEGAN diet and leaving out important information, knowledge or fact on meat or eggs, isn't transparent. Over exaggerating the benefits or leaving out studies showing the opposite is not fair, whether it is from a MEAT EATING PERSPECTIVE or a VEGAN PERSPECTIVE!
Perhaps if a study showed the benefit of, let's say red meat or and eggs, we would still stick to a vegan diet, as we can not support the way we farm animals today, but we would be curious to know, what factor plays a role in this health-benefit and how can we achieve the same, but through different sources.
And we think that Dr Mark Hyman is great at conveying these details, giving us freedom as humans to choose, rather than being pushed in someones desired direction! THANK YOU MARK HYMAN!
