COVID-19 TIMES: YOU HAVE TO KNOW THIS👇 Are you okay?

COVID-19 TIMES: YOU HAVE TO KNOW THIS👇 Are you okay?

When life takes a turn that we hadn’t expected we go through different stages. The first four stages might happen and shift quite spontaneously. But they might also not. There’s a risk that we get stuck along the way.

When you read the following stages you might recognise some of them. Notice that it isn’t fun to be stuck in either of the four first stages.

This might just be what you need to know to move onto the next stage and turn anger into passion.

1.SHOCK:

First comes the shock. This is when we try to get our heads around what just happened. We might go through the moment over and over again. Watch the news or the same video clip again and again.

2.ANGER:

Then we might experience anger. Anger for the changes that we didn’t want. Angry with life of whatever/whoever we think inflicted that unwanted change.

3.SADNESS OF LOSS:

If we have experienced a loss. Perhaps we lost a job, a business, an opportunity or financial safety. For that, we grieve.

4.WORRY OF FUTURE:

We begin to worry about the future. How will life look? Will it ever get back to the way it was? Will we get a new job? Will we be happy again?

The four first stages come more or less spontaneously the next two stages we can create ourselves:

5.ACCEPTANCE OF WHAT IS:

Acceptance of what is. We begin to accept the “new”. It becomes “the normal”. When we can accept the present we can turn shock into drive and anger into passion.

6.CREATION:

Now we are back, more powerful than ever. This is where we turn loss and worry into momentum for creation. Creating new opportunities, ways of thinking, a new business idea or perhaps we are making our way to another profession.

Which stage are you in right now?

Remember, we have a risk of getting stuck in any of these stages. Are you still in shock? Or experiencing anger?

How can you make it to acceptance? And what will you create from this turn of events?
