i tried to love it but very slippery

The mat itself is a 1-star experience, but I’m giving 2 stars because the matching bag and strap are great quality, and customer service did respond.

The mat is beautiful, but only grippy if my hands are completely dry. Even slightly clammy and I slide immediately. I used it consistently for weeks with no improvement. I was told it needed to be broken in—but that’s never mentioned anywhere on the listing, and it didn’t help. The jute edges also started fraying early on.

I don’t understand how there are only 5-star reviews. I really wanted to love this, but it just hasn’t worked for me.

I wish I found this company before ordering cheap mats from Amazon. I ordered the green mat, it is beautiful, totally anti slip and the smell was gone after few days, just unrolled and left it outside. I also got the bag for the mat which I love, lovely spacious bag. My friend saw my mat, she loves it so much she will be ordering the blue one soon with the bag too
